The Prayer is a musical collaboration between Desert Rose’s classical world music and ancient Sufi chanting. The album was released on 24 May 2008 to a large South African market of spiritual and relaxation music lovers. This album brought a new sound as it introduced South Africa’s leading sacred world music vocalist to the world. The music combines ancient Sufi chanting with classically ochestrated world music, offering music lovers sounds that they have never heard or experienced before. The first song, Remembrance, has become an international hit in the spiritual and healing world music genres and the CD is widely distributed in more than 15 countries.
