about

The mantra Ajai Alai was written by the Warrior Saint (and poet) Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs. He became Guru on November 24, 1675 at the age of nine, following the martyrdom of his father, the ninth Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. It is part of the daily prayer in Sikhism called Jaap Sahib. The mantra is a compilation of divine attributes of the Supreme Creator. The album was inspired by a visit to Mauritius while listening to the chant in a meditation session at an Ashram. It was released on a South African Tour in June 2017.
